To enable young scientists the exchange of ideas and acquisition of new techniques in another laboratory of his/her choice, the organizing committee of the Austrian Science Days will grant two mobility awards of Euro 2,000.- each. The prize is open to participants of the Austrian Science Days of the respective year, who have submitted a scientific abstract. The awardees will be chosen by the poster committee. No formal application is necessary.
Grant terms:
- The grant has to be used within 3 years after the grant has been awarded for expenses that are connected to: fostering interactions with other labs, establishing new collaborations and / or learning new techniques.
- An experience report shall be submitted within three months after the stay to the OeGDV.
- The receipts, a confirmation of attendance from the head of the laboratory/ collaboration partner and a brief summary of the purpose of use of the money have to be submitted to the OeGDV. The OeGDV will directly transfer the money to the awardees after all documents were received and cleared by the Science Days Organisation Committee.
